Senior Webmaster / Web Development Manager

Position Overview

Lead all web development and design initiatives for a fast-growing 260-person enterprise startup. This individual contributor role combines technical expertise, creative vision, and marketing alignment to ensure our web presence drives business growth and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own end-to-end development and maintenance of company website, including architecture, security, performance, and user experience
2. Execute website redesign projects and continuous improvement initiatives based on marketing objectives
3. Manage web hosting, domain management, SSL certificates, and other technical infrastructure
4. Implement and maintain web analytics, SEO strategy, and conversion tracking
5. Work closely with marketing team to optimize landing pages and conversion funnels
6. Create and maintain high-impact marketing campaign pages and microsites
7. Ensure brand consistency across all web properties
8. Maintain website compliance with accessibility standards and data protection regulations
9. Develop and maintain documentation for web systems and processes

Technical Requirements

1. Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or similar)
2. Proficiency in backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar)
3. Experience with CMS platforms and headless CMS architectures
4. Strong understanding of web security best practices and compliance requirements
5. Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
6. Strong knowledge of marketing analytics tools, A/B testing, and conversion optimization

Design Skills

1. Experience with UI/UX best practices
2. Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
3. Understanding of brand guidelines and design systems
4. Ability to create compelling, conversion-focused web experiences

Marketing Focus

1. Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM integrations
2. Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles
3. Knowledge of SEO best practices and technical implementation
4. Experience with marketing analytics and attribution
5. Ability to optimize for lead generation and customer acquisition

Required Experience

1. 7+ years of web development experience
2. 3+ years managing web properties in a marketing-driven organization
3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field
4. Portfolio of successful marketing-focused web projects
5. Track record of improving conversion rates and user engagement

Reporting Structure

1. Reports directly to Chief Marketing Officer
2. Works closely with Marketing, Brand, and Content teams
