Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A unique opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment located in Tracy, CA. This contract position runs from July 29 to May 31, offering 30 hours per week dedicated to enhancing munication access for students who use sign language.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate, clear, and professional sign language interpretation services for K-12 students across the campus.
• Rotate throughout the campus based on student needs, ensuring prehensive munication support in classrooms and other school activities.
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to facilitate effective munication and support student learning outes.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interpretations.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency with a minimum EIPA score of 4.0 or higher.
• Experience interpreting in an educational K-12 setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of educational terminology and classroom environments.
• Ability to manage flexible assignments across various locations within the school.
• Strong munication skills and cultural sensitivity.
