TIG Welder

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder responsible for MIG or TIG welding of stainless steel. The role involves fitting and welding tasks, working accurately from blueprints and instructions, and performing light fabricating duties.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG or TIG welding on stainless steel materials.
• Fit and weld components according to blueprints and instructions.
• Engage in light fabricating tasks.
• Ensure adherence to aerospace standards and specifications.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in TIG welding.
• Experience with welding techniques such as MIG welding.
• Familiarity with materials like stainless steel, Inconel, Aluminum, and Titanium.
• Understanding of aerospace fabrication standards, including D17.1.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous Aerospace welding experience.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Capability to stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a manufacturing environment within the aerospace industry, supporting a large team of over 2500 employees. The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced setting with opportunities for overtime work.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, California.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
