**Job Description: Emergency Department Nurse - Night Shift**

Join us as a dedicated Emergency Department Nurse in a fast-paced healthcare environment, providing top-notch care to diverse patient populations. This position is focused on delivering immediate, high-quality treatment in a high-volume, high-energy setting.

**Shift Details:**
- **Schedule:** Nights
- **Duration:** 12-hour shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
- **Contract Weeks:** 54
- **Guaranteed Hours:** 36

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver exceptional patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
- Handle high-stress situations with professionalism and skill.
- Participate in continuous education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** Minimum of three (3) years of recent Emergency Department experience is required.
- **Education:** Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
- **Travel Experience:** Must have completed at least one contract assignment.
- **Certifications:**
- New Jersey Nursing License or Compact License
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- **Availability:** Must be willing to work every other weekend and one holiday per contract.

**Orientation Details:**
Candidates are required to complete a comprehensive orientation. Failure to complete all elements may result in immediate termination. Orientation will be conducted virtually and includes online modules and in-person training schedules.

**Additional Information:**
- No block scheduling or special requests for time off (RTO) beyond three days will be accepted.
- All training classes will be scheduled, and candidates must verify their location using provided resources.
