Inpatient Pharmacist – Hyannis, MA | $3,000 Weekly | 13-Week Contract

 

GHR Healthcare is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join a hospital pharmacy team in Hyannis, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to support a high-volume inpatient setting while enjoying a steady schedule and competitive weekly pay.

 

Position Details:

• Pay: $3,000 per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (October 13, 2025 – January 10, 2026)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Evening shifts, typically 2–3 pharmacists with 3–4 technicians per shift
• Order Volume: 300+ verifications per shift (weekends lower, weekdays higher)

Requirements:

• Inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Prior EPIC Willow and BD/Pyxis experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to manage high-volume order verification in a collaborative hospital environment

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, dispense, and control medications in compliance with hospital, state, and federal standards
• Review medication orders for accuracy, dosage, compatibility, and scheduling
• Compound pharmaceuticals as needed, including IV admixtures and TPN
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
• Provide drug information and clinical guidance to medical and nursing staff
• Ensure accurate labeling, storage, and documentation of medications
