**Job Title: Night 3x12-Hour RN - Cardiac Telemetry**

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Night 3x12-hour shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) position in a progressive care unit specializing in cardiac telemetry. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, supportive environment, and requires strong skills in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a 34-bed General Medical Progressive Care Unit with telemetry-monitored beds.
- Monitor patients experiencing cardiac-related conditions, including stroke, renal disorders, sepsis, and endocrine disorders.
- Administer and manage peripheral lines, including PICC line management, and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide excellent patient support and care.
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required, with a patient ratio of 1:5.
- Float to other units and campuses as needed to ensure optimal patient care.

**Qualifications:**

- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a progressive care or telemetry environment.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Proficient in EKG monitoring and management of dysrhythmias.
- Experience with Epic charting systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of isolation precautions, wound care, and other critical nursing practices.

**Compliance Requirements:**

- Candidates must pass a mandatory EKG exam during compliance. Two attempts are allowed.
- Completion of a full compliance file prior to the start date, including education verification through a 3rd party.
- No open cases on background checks will be accepted.

**Patient Care and Unit Details:**

- Daily patient census averages 30.
- Team support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services, among others.
- Patients include those with acute medical conditions requiring close monitoring and care.
