About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Revenue Cycle to lead and optimize its revenue cycle operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing both strategic and operational leadership across the full spectrum of revenue cycle functions, including patient access, HIM, coding, billing, A/R, denials, and collections. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with executive leadership to ensure alignment with financial and operational goals, as well as leading a team to drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce denials, and improve cash flow. The VP of Revenue Cycle will also be tasked with overseeing and evaluating outsourced coding partnerships and utilizing the primary HIS to monitor performance and support decision-making. Applicants for the VP of Revenue Cycle position at the company should have a proven track record in executive or senior leadership roles within healthcare revenue cycle operations. Strong knowledge of Epic systems and workflows is essential, and experience with managing change in complex, fast-paced healthcare environments is a must. The role requires excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to ensure accountability across various departments. Familiarity with Utilization Review processes is a plus, and experience with outsourced coding models and vendor management is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be available to travel as needed and be prepared to make a measurable impact during a transformative phase for the organization.
