Position Overview: Provide SAP ABAP Technical solutions in an SAP ISU environment for NA clients and customized Vertex SAP services. The prospective hire should be able to lead a team of technical resources and deliver solutions for our current and upcoming projects. She/he should collaborate with the functional team, client(s) and NA team members to gather requirements, develop solutions, and deploy solutions.
Primary Responsibilities: Expert in SAP ABAP with knowledge in SAP IS-Utilities environment , Enhancements (BADIs/User Exits/Enhancement Points, Print workbench, Forms FQEVENTS), Module Pool programming, Reports (ALV and List), RFC Function modules (BAPI), and interfaces, BDC and Call Transactions. Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs specific to IS-U modules (e.g., Billing, Device Management, FI-CA, Move-in/Move-out). Implement IS-U event-driven logic , like FI-CA (FQEVENTS) . Debug and resolve issues in batch jobs , billing runs, dunning, and other utility-specific transactions. Well versed with the new coding Standards Analyze client production operation defects and modify ABAP objects to correct the problem Work closely with functional team to ensure that business requirements are properly developed and deployed within SAP applications. Adjust technical objects and remove any conflicts caused by applying new service pack or enhancement pack or any upgrade activities. Develops technical specifications and works with functional resources to complete object development and testing. Define unit test scenarios to cover full scope of the business as well as creating master data and carry out the unit, cycle and integration tests. Provide development estimates as requested by client for any new functionality/enhancement.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science or other related field 4+ years SAP experience with ABAP development is SAP ISU SAP experience with ECC 6.0, and IS-U CCS utilizing SAP NetWeaver technologies At least 4+ years of experience working in an SAP Utilities environment Expert level ABAP, knows key ISU tables within most/all modules, knows integration of modules. Excellent verbal and written communication skills set.
Desired Skills: Formal training or certifications in SAP Knowledge on CDS and AMDP or Object-oriented programming is a plus point Experience in SAP ISU with knowledge of ISU Data structures and tables. Knowledge of any SAP ISU Modules like Billing/FICA/Device Management etc. would be an added advantage
