Job Title: Warehouse / Logistics Supervisor
Department: Warehouse
TEMP to PERM Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse / Logistics Supervisor to oversee all warehouse operations, optimize processes, and lead the team to achieve operational goals, including 99% on-time delivery. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm role requiring 40+ hours per week, Monday to Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with some Fridays as half days.

Essential Functions
Planning & Operations:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet on-time delivery targets.
  • Collaborate with production and other departments to align warehouse operations with business objectives.
  • Address delays promptly and implement corrective actions.
Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring proper training and cross-training for all responsibilities.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct periodic audits, review orders, and complete annual performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory control, including receiving, storing, and organizing materials.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate records.
  • Implement best practices to minimize errors, damage, and losses.
Process Optimization:
  • Continuously review and improve warehouse processes, layout, and inventory location systems.
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements to reduce lead times and improve overall performance.
Quality & Safety Compliance:
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure all outgoing products meet high standards.
  • Conduct safety inspections, training sessions, and drills to maintain a safe working environment.
Reporting & Documentation:
  • Complete bills of lading and shipment notifications.
  • Prepare reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics, inventory levels, and on-time delivery rates.
  • Communicate findings to management and participate in regular operational meetings.
Organizational & Communication Skills:
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to maintain an orderly warehouse.
  • Conduct audits and maintain compliance with organizational standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
Job Qualifications
  • College degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse or logistics supervisory experience
  • Experience with ISO 9001 standards
  • Experience managing a team of 5+ employees
  • Certifications such as CLTD, CWLP, or CSCP preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Bilingual skills a plus

Pay Details: $40.00 to $47.00 per hour
