What You'll Do: Capture Moments: Photograph school events and sports action images throughout the entire school year Create Memories: Help families and individuals preserve joyful memories with your photography skills. Earn Competitive Pay: $18-20/hour,based on your skills, proficiency, and equipment. A Day in the Life: Travel: Drive to various photography assignments across the Chicago area, with paid travel time and mileage reimbursement. Client Interaction: Be the friendly face of VIP, ensuring every event, performance, graduation, and game has memorable images for the yearbook and parents. Equipment Requirements: Pro-level DSLR or mirrorless camera, 24-70mm lens,and a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens to capture action and candid images in a wide range of lighting situations. A TTL flash unit is needed for school dances and events. Work Schedule: Seasonal Part-Time: Enjoy seasonal work during the school year. Weekend Availability: Expect to work approximately 12+ Saturdays per year, with occasional Sundays as well. Flexible Hours: Work schedule ranges from daytime, afternoon, and evening assignments. School events range from assignments during the school day, after school events, along with dances, performances and plays during the evening and on weekend evenings.Yearbook action takes place on weekdays after school lets out and sporting events begin, plus some weekend games and competition.
